The Women's Center believes that ending domestic violence and sexual violence will require changes in society's beliefs, thinking and attitudes to end all forms of oppression. The Women's Center recognizes that oppression based on gender, race, age, sexual orientation, income, and physical ability promotes and reinforces the belief that it is legitimate for one group of people to dominate another group. The Women's Center stands for equality, liberty and freedom for all people
