We're the Legal Aid and Defender Association, Inc. We're the largest provider of free legal services to the indigent in Michigan and one of the largest in the United States. We'e a nonprofit, charitable organization, but if we were a private law firm, we would be the fourth largest in the state. And we have the legal talent and technology to compete with the best private firms. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, aggressive legal advocacy and representation for residents of metropolitan Detroit.
